An on-call PRN child and adolescent psychiatrist is needed in Maryland. A typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm for vacation coverage and one weeknight of call from home per week (5 pm to 8 am). The covering physician will see 12 patients a day while covering the unit for absences. They welcome both board certified and board eligible child/adolescent psychiatry physicians, but you must have completed a C&A fellowship.
You will earn $1,000 a day for an 8-hour shift and $2,500 for weekend call. Malpractice will also be covered.
