A consulting service facility based in Florida is in need of a psychiatrist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately three months beginning in early June with a high chance of extension. On a typical day, the locum can expect to see between eighteen and twenty patients for a variety of cases: The doctor will be managing their own acute unit with dedicated nursing staff and a dedicated clinical services team. The provider will see on average about four new admissions per day and approximately the same amount of discharges. This opening has full-time hours where the locum will work 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday plus an occasional weekend shift.
