A hospital in Iowa needs additional psychiatry support. The community has growing demand, so the facility is reviewing new candidates. The job is outpatient with no call. You can expect to see 15 to 20 patients daily, with 95 percent of them being adults, the others being adolescents. You'll have 1-hour evaluations and 30-minute medication checks. You will be supported by advanced practice providers and other psychiatry physicians. The facility requires that you be board certified or board eligible within four years of completing your training. An Iowa license will be required, and CompHealth can assist you with the process.
