Child Psychiatrist (MD) needed Part-Time for busy community health organization in Manhattan:

• 100% outpatient ambulatory community practice
• Flexible scheduling 9am-5pm, 11am-7pm - need 14 hours per week (2 days)
• No weekends
• Treating full-spectrum mental health conditions on an outpatient basis
• Collaborate with primary care and other medical providers to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Treat patients of all ages who come to the center
• Focus on prevention, intervention and rehabilitation of mental health conditions
• Assess, diagnose, prescribe and manage medications, develop treatment plans
• Interact with family members, case managers and extended network to ensure patient treatment plan is delivered
• Practice individual, group and family therapy and health teaching and counseling
• Act as a liaison and resource between other departments within the organization

• State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required
• Residency training in General Psychiatry, Child Fellowship preferred
