Our client is a not for profit Mental Health Center and works with patients ages 5 plus years old.

The position is seeing mostly adult, all outpatient may be asked to see some adolescents and kids. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Psychiatrist will spend roughly 30% of their time collaborating with several Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, working on program development, covering some telepsych responsibilities from Gloversville office and also working with the clinical director and crisis response team.

Psychiatrist will spend the other 70% of their time working in direct care seeing adult and children patients, including high-risk patients.

There is NO CALL associated with this position and your duties would include initial evals and medication checks. 1 Hour evaluations and 20-minute med checks (3) per hour. Psychiatrist will collaborate each week with Nurse Practitioners to come up with new treatment plans and evaluate progress of current patients.

Current Medical Director has been with clinic for many years and is going to be retiring.

$250K Salary + $5K per year Sign Bonus based on length of commitment (prorated for part – time)
