Location: Southeastern Alabama city close to Florida and Georgia borders. 2.5 hours southeast of Montgomery AL and less than 2 hours to Tallahassee FL. 90 miles to Florida Gulf Coast beaches. Many physicians live on the Gulf coast and commute to work. Facility: Medical Center is a 400+ bed regional referral center and Level II trauma center serving 800 000 people throughout its neighboring communities and employs 300 physicians who represent virtually every medical specialty. The Osteopathic Medical School is underway and the 120 000-square-foot facility started enrolling students in the fall of 2012. Opportunity: Seeking Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to treat patients in the Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. Join a team of Psychiatrists Psychiatric RN's licensed clinical social workers and counselors. Illnesses will include but not be limited to Depression Substance Abuse Anxiety Disorders Bipolar Disorders Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Psychosis and Dual Diagnosis.
