A hospital in Texas is looking for a psychiatrist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately six months starting early December and ending in late June, with a chance for an extension. The provider will work 40 hour shifts Monday through Friday and will be on call 1 to 2 days a week and 1 in 5 weekends. During weekend calls, the provider will have to do rounds in the mornings. The locum will see about 15 C/A and adult patients each day and will work on adult bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia and more. As well, the locum will work on C/A bipolar, ADD, and other bread and butter work. The facility will offer EMR training.
