Alliance is seeking a full time Psychiatrist that is interested in providing both inpatient and outpatient care in Pennsylvania.
Adult Inpatient/Outpatient Mix:
- Inpatient in the morning and outpatients in the afternoon.
- Physicians have the benefit of having a mid-level provider with them on the inpatient unit as well as a full complement of therapists, technicians. This includes performing initial evaluations and rounding. On average there will be 2-4 new patients on the inpatient unit per day.
- Will the physician be required to do H&Ps? Yes, Psychiatric H & P’s only. Medical H & P’s covered by consulting medical group. Experienced PA works alongside Provider
- In the outpatient clinic, our Psychiatrist typically see 1 patient per hour for initial evaluations, 2-3 per hour for follow-up med checks.
- Cerner EMR on the inpatient unit and GE in the outpatient clinic.
-Call rotation is 1:7 but flexible.
-How many psychiatrists on staff: 4 psychiatrists and 4 NP/PA on staff.
