VISTA's Permanent Placement Division is representing a Psychiatry department seeking a full-time inpatient adult Psychiatrist. Highlights of this permanent full-time position include:
* BE/BC adult Psychiatry
* Inpatient experience preferred
* Experience in Addiction and Suboxone Certification preferred
* Employed, full time
* Academic appointment with the School of Medicine is commensurate with credentials and experience
* Provide care for up to four (4) psychiatric inpatients
* Deliver consultations to the emergency room and medical/surgical floors
* Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner assigned to the Psychiatrist will perform the admission histories on elective admissions to the inpatient chemical dependence units
* 238-bed, not-for-profit acute care hospital with 22 beds for acute psychiatric inpatients and 42 for chemical dependence rehabilitation
* Specialized programs for adults, senior adults, suicide prevention, chemical dependency and substance abuse as well as community-based programs
* Inpatient hospitalization for acute stage of illness and partial hospitalization
* Behavior Health Program also offers outpatient services for those requiring a less intense level of care
