MDA IS LOOKING FOR AN ADULT INPATIENT PSYCHIATRIST TO BEGIN AS SOON AS CREDENTIALING CAN BE DONE FOR LONG-TERM IN ONE OF THE GREAT CITIES IN SOUTHERN OH
This is an ongoing need beginning as soon as credentialing can be done. OH license required. Board Certified/Board Eligible. Scheduled hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, (40 hours per week). No call, no weekends. Job duties include: evaluates, examines, analyses, diagnoses and treats patients, prescribes medication and performs in-depth psychotherapy and counseling (e.g., psychoanalysis, behavior modification). Monitor and coordinates professional and paraprofessional medical, nursing, and direct care staff in areas related to psychiatric care; reviews patient records for accuracy and completeness; recommends improvements in hospital staffing and organizations. Conducts and participates in lectures and seminars in psychiatry or related field for professional and paraprofessional health care staff.
