In the state of Pennsylvania, MHM is the statewide mental health service provider to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, The Commonwealth State Hospitals & the Philadelphia Prison System. We are currently seeking a Full Time Psychiatrist (30 – 40 hours per week) at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) Waymart.

SCI Waymart is conveniently located within 20 minutes of Scranton, PA and a short distance from the Pocono Mountains.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide comprehensive on site psychiatric services to an adult male inmate/patient population at the State Correctional Institution Waymart; Medication Management & Initial Evaluations; Coordinate care closely with custody staff while maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship.
