A geriatric psychiatrist is needed at a behavioral health clinic in Maryland. The community has growing demand, so the facility is accepting new candidates. The need is for inpatient treatment. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and you will see nine to 12 geriatric patients per day. Call will be phone only, one night per week, and 1:10 weekends. A geriatric fellowship is preferred or experience working with the geriatric population. The facility is accepting candidates who are board certified or board eligible within three years of their training. An MD state license will be required, and we can assist with the processing and application. H-1B visa holders can be supported. The facility will entertain speaking with fellows whose final year is next year.
You'll receive a competitive compensation package with quality bonuses, health benefits, and vacation. You'll also be provided relocation assistance, a sign-on, long-term disability and short-term disability, life insurance, 40 hours of CME time with a $2K stipend, a 403(b) retirement package, and paid malpractice insurance.
