Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist Locums Job in Coastal California

Details/Requirements:
--16-bed PHF adult inpatient unit.
--Four 12-hour shifts in the PHF per week, Tuesday to Friday, but some weeks less or no services are needed. Specific dates needed: 12/13–16, 12/20–23, 12/27-30, 1/3–6, 1/10–13, 1/24–27, 1/31, 2/1–3, 2/14–17, 2/21–24, 2/28, 3/1–3, 3/14–17, 3/21–24, and 3/28–31.
--Four hours in the ED, seeing emergent medication needs of open cases from any clinic. ED coverage is part of the 12-hour shifts per day.
--Daily hospital consults via telepsychiatry to assess patients who have been placed on a 5150 hold.
--Daily shift report.
--Daily rounds on all PHF patients.
--Treatment Team meetings on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays.
--Hours: 7am to 7pm
--No call. There are other doctors for night and weekend coverage.
--You will see the entire census every day they’re scheduled.
--You are the only doctor covering the census during their 12-hour shifts, and there are no psychiatric nurse practitioners on staff.
--Average length of stay for the PHF is 7-8 days.
--Other providers do the medical physicals for H&Ps for new admissions
--Electronic health record is Anasazi and they use E-script for prescriptions.
