**Psychiatrist Opportunity in the Chicagoland Area** Full-time, Days + Call, Mon - Fri + rotating weekends Position: Inpatient Setting Location: East Chicago, IN (Northwest Indiana Region, 30 minute commute from Chicago, IL) Position Highlights - 30 minutes commute each way during rush hour from downtown Chicago daily - Access to an abundance of cultural activities and world renowned museums that only a world-class city can offer - Healthcare system experiencing explosive growth and expansion new position is based off of need to handle increasing volume - A comprehensive Adult Psychiatric Program that offers inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient program, ECTs, and consultative liaison service for 4 hospitals. Our 40 bed inpatient acute psychiatric program will expand into a 60 bed program as we add on a third inpatient unit this Fall. We have a collaborative academically focused multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Social Workers, and supporting staff members who work together to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.
