History/Philosophy:
– Join a national leader in Gero-psych services -Providing care in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities across the country
– In many cases, they can have 30-40 locations in a “metro region”
– A Psychiatrist will lead a care team that oversees 4-5 locations
– Interdisciplinary team to include NPs and Psychologists
– Psychiatrist will visit 1 location per day – Goaled at “5 hours of care” per day (equates to 10-12 patients).
– “Supervision” of the NPs and Psychologists can be done from home
– Supervision preferred but not required
– Doctor can make changes in the global care of the patient, fine tune treatments, evaluate meds, reeducations, etc.
Compensation:
– 275K+ salary
– Unit based production model allows demonstrated income as high as 600K. Company median is 350K-400K per year
– 15 days PTO, because average 5 hours a day of patient contact, M-F
– DEA, License, and Liability insurance
– 401K
