As a preventive medicine officer on the Army Health Care Team, you will plan, coordinate and direct programs to maintain health, improve physical fitness and prevent disease and injury. You’ll have opportunities to work with some of the most innovative technology in the industry and practice at world-class medical facilities, all while developing advanced skills. You’ll train to become a leader in your specialized field while enjoying the privileges that come with being an officer. And, with the support of our collaborative health care professionals, you can build your Army Medical career without concerns about overhead costs and malpractice insurance premiums. The Army and Army Reserve Medical Corps provides you the opportunity to continue to work and live either in your community and serve when needed or full time in one of a number of fully staffed and equipped facilities.

Benefits include: $250,000 student loan repayment in addition to your normal Captain pay and benefits, specialized training assistance and a monthly stipend of more than $2,400 if enrolled in an accredited residency program, low cost health care for you and your family, retirement programs and 401K matches, among other benefits. Active Duty positions include 225,000 Bonus and 120,000 Student Loan Repayment.
