A home health center in Nevada is looking for a podiatrist who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately 6 months starting in late October and ending in late May with a chance of an extension for another 6 months. The provider will ideally work 5 days a week and will see at least 7 mainly adult patients per day. The locum will be traveling to patients' homes and working on most wound care cases such as diabetic ulcers/risk assessments for diabetic patients per ADA guidelines, pressure ulcers-hip/pelvic ulcers, vascular ulcers, chronic wounds, surgical wounds, and more. The client uses Wound Expert EMR which is a Net Health Systems product so the provider will need to be tech savvy. The client will offer EMR training.
