We invite you to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together in our Physical/ Rehabilitation team at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Carolinas Medical Center/Carolinas Rehabilitation and Levine Cancer Institute is offering a one-year fellowship starting July 2022 in Cancer Rehabilitation for a board eligible/board certified Physiatrist. Carolinas Rehabilitation (CR) and the Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) are premier institutions within the southeast delivering rehabilitation and cancer care, respectively. This fellowship opportunity will be based in the Charlotte metro area and will provide a unique opportunity to learn in a well-established oncology rehabilitation practice that spans care throughout the cancer spectrum. Fellows will have clinical experiences for inpatient rehabilitation at CR, outpatient clinics within LCI, and consult evaluations at Carolinas Medical Center. Additional experiences will be available within the Department of Supportive Care at LCI, including exposure to integrative oncology, palliative care, survivorship, geriatrics, psychiatry, clinical nutrition, and outpatient rehabilitation therapy. The fellowship will also allow for other clinical and research opportunities for professional growth and development, exposure into program development, understanding of operational needs for programmatic success, and leadership development. Interested candidates must have excellent clinical and academic credentials, be highly motivated and desire a challenging clinical/research environment.
