Detroit Medical Center is actively seeking a PM&R Spinal Cord Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury specialist for an excellent employed position with The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. A member of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan is a free-standing facility and is one of the nation’s largest providers of physical medicine and rehabilitation services. It is CARF accredited in SCI, TBI, CVA, CIIRP and amputations.
Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00PM with on call rotation across all physicians for weekend call. The facility houses a state-of-the-art neuroscience unit and an SCI unit with 3 robots for use in both the inpatient and outpatient arenas. Model system for TBI and state-of-the-art equipment for therapy. Physicians are supported by a multidisciplinary team of therapists with credentialed rehab nurses.
Candidates must be BE/BC with an active Michigan license (or in progress). Fellowship training and an interest in Spinal Cord Injury and/or Traumatic Brain Injury as a primary area of patient care is preferred.
