Arkansas – Northern – Wound Care Specialist

A large and successful health system in Northwest Arkansas is looking for a physiatrist to head up its wound care program. This is an established program and you will be busy from day one. We have two wound care centers in our metro area and each center has 2 chambers. Your interest in this subspecialty will be satisfied as you’ll have a a strong and diverse patient population with the convenience of a Monday to Friday schedule with no call. If you’d like, there’s an option to be involved in the inpatient rehabilitation unit.

The city is a diverse and friendly community with multiple top rankings in national lists such as “best city/place to live” and “fastest growing small city”, as well as a recent 18th place finish in a list of most diverse cities with fewer than 100,000 residents. The population gives you a small town feel, but you’ll still have all the amenities of an “All-America City”, such as an airport with direct flights to most major cities such as San Francisco and New York. This is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States, and the recent growth is fueling a surge in schools, museums, and a diversification in industry. The business climate is excellent and there is high employment for professionals and tradesmen, so you’ll find all the large city amenities, high-end products available here. This is an interesting opportunity to get established in a community with a lot of potential!
