An fully-equipped inpatient rehabilitation facility in Alaska is seeking a locum tenens PM&R physician to act as an interim medical director. The facility is currently experiencing a vacancy and department restructuring.
The locum will be able to explore their way around this beautiful Alaskan city during their off-time.
The workload will be approx. 70% patient facing and 30% administration. There is no call coverage required for this assignment. Shifts are 8 hours, Monday-Friday. The facility prefers that the locum is certified in TBI or spine, but it is not required. Requirements include BLS and BC. Acute and chronic pain management (excluding injections) is preferred.
