Urgent Need for Physician Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician for Locum Tenens Assignment

A new state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital in the metro St. Louis area is in need of a PM&R physician to help with coverage for three to six months. This 60 bed all private suite facility’s design is the direct result of decades of care for this patient population and reflects the specialized needs of patients, families and clinicians. The care team is directed by a physician that has extensive experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Additional team members are Certified Rehabilitation Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Registered Dietitians, Neuropsychologists, Case Managers and Activities Coordinators. Comprehensive inpatient medical rehabilitation care is provided to patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and neurological and orthopedic conditions. Outpatients receive outstanding care through The Day Institute.

The physician will be paid an excellent hourly compensation, all travel, meal and lodging expenses will be reimbursed and the physician will be covered under our A+ rated malpractice policy.
