Regional group orthopedic practice seeks Physiatrist to join it's office in Virginia Beach. Join five other surgeons ( also this year adding a Spine surgeon, and a Foot and Ankle Surgeon), made up of two sports, one hand and upper extremity, one general, and one total joints surgeon. Physical therapy in office. Focus on MSK, Spine, pain, EMG's optional. Base salary with production bonus, benefits, partnership available.
Virginia Beach is Virginia's largest metro area with a core population of 500,000 and the metro area has 1.7 million. It's a resort area located on the Atlantic Ocean, and at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Only three hours to the mountains, or to Washington DC. Large military population (active and retired) with numerous military bases in the region. The area boasts a large International Sea Port as well. Mild four season climate with little snow. Well run school system with lot's of additional private choices.
