Seeking a board certified/eligible physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with Interventionist experience to join our spine team for a full-time position in our Lynchburg office.

Physiatrists joining practice will have an active interest in the diagnosis and treatment of spine- related disorders in the context of a multi-disciplinary Spine Center including orthopaedic surgeons, interventional physiatrists and physical therapists. Candidates will see patients via an acute work-in algorithm as part of the Spine Center as well as maintaining an active roster of their own patients. There are no call responsibilities in this role. Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible. Competitive salary and benefit package offered.

Our Lynchburg office is comprised of nineteen physicians. We provide care for an immediate drawing area of approximately 250,000. Lynchburg office has specialists in physiatry, general orthopaedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine-trained family physicians, and physical and occupational therapy. In 2017, medical group will be fully integrated on the Epic platform. Our 87,000 square foot facility houses an MRI, injection suite, an after-hours clinic and expanded therapy services.
Medical group is located near the geographic center of the state, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, placing it close to larger metropolitan areas, such as Richmond and Washington DC.
