Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking an additional Physiatrist to join a well-established group located in Tucson, AZ. The group is the largest and fastest growing group of PM&R specialists providing high quality rehab oversight at hospitals, LTACs, and skilled nursing facilities across the country.

• Full-time opportunity – Available immediately
• 100% Inpatient
• Medical Directorship available – must spend at least 20 hours per week in the hospital
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Little to no call – the hospitalists cover admissions 0 if a patient is admitted over the weekend, the covering physiatrist has 24 hours to do a consult

St. Mary’s Hospital’s Inpatient Rehab unit currently has 28 licensed rehab beds and is both CARF and TJC Stroke Rehabilitation accredited. The typical patient base is about 30-40% stroke/neuro, 20% cardiac, and the remaining is ortho. There is a dedicated team of therapists, social workers, a rehab psychologist, and rehabilitation nurses to assist the Physiatrists.

The Medical Directorship is for St. Mary’s Hospital only. We also have a search for a 2nd position which time will be split between St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s Hospitals in Tucson.

Candidates must be BE/BC in Physiatry and eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Arizona.
