U.S. Physiatry currently has a practice opportunity available in Houston, TX for an inpatient rehab staff physiatrist. This opportunity will be covering a total of 18 beds (possibly more) split between 2 different facilities inpatient units. The facilities are located in very close proximity of one another so seeing patients daily at both facilities would not be unreasonable at all. We could also supplement patient volume (if needed) with skilled nursing facility patients in the area.
This would be a full time, Monday-Friday practice with a 1 in 6 call coverage schedule. Call coverage consists of seeing any new admits that come in over the weekend. Weekday coverage is taken care of by the internal medicine doctors at the hospitals.
The area in Houston that this opportunity is located is a highly desirable suburban area just Northwest of the heart of Houston. For the right candidate this practice opportunity could be extremely lucrative!
