Job Description
We have the honor of working with a pain institute who utilizes a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation approach to pain management, focusing on body and spine mechanics as the basis of analysis of pain sources, and they need an interventional physiatrist! The treatment philosophy of PM&R puts the patient in the driver’s seat, paving the path to a fully informed decision about non-surgical or medical treatment options for neck and back pain. Comprehensive neck and back care is individualized based on the biomechanics of the body and the spine, reviewing various possible pain sources, and considering various non-surgical options. The institute truly believes in a good patient-physician relationship as the foundation for patients to enjoy a long-term healthy and active lifestyle.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible fellowship trained Interventional Pain Management Physician
Duties:
- Medical Management including:
- Nerve-based medications
- Local applications
- Non-narcotic and narcotic medications
- Office-based injections
- Joint injections
- Epidural injections
- Physical Management of the patient including:
- Physical Therapy
- Chiropractic care
- Pool Therapy
- Lifestyle modification
