This location is world famous for both its outdoor pursuits and pristine beauty, located in Central Oregon at the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains. This energetic city with a growing population of over 82,000 has a need for several more Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians. Majestic snow-capped peaks permeate the high-desert skyline making for some of the best weather in Oregon—think sun-drenched days and cool nights—along with endless options for plenty of play time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Neonatologist will provide inpatient services to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
§ Neonatologist would work 122 12-hour day shifts per year.
§ Neonatologist attends high risk deliveries only.
§ Medical control of transports is an expectation of all of the providers
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
· 24 beds/12 rooms.
· There is a resuscitation team of an RN and RT 24/7.
· Average daily census is 10.
· Non-surgical NICU.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:

§ Moving Expense Reimbursement: up to $10,000
§ Signing loan (bonus) available
§ CME $4,000 per year
§ Oregon medical license, DEA and Med Staff dues paid
§ Choice of Health Saving Account or Preferred Provider Organization - Medical/Dental/Vision and Rx Benefits
§ 125 Flex Plan for pretax payment of certain medical expenses
§ Disability: Long term disability with benefit up to $15,000/month based on annual salary, Short term disability also offered
§ Malpractice Insurance: minimum of $1,000,000 - $3,000,000 (“tail” coverage provided)
§ 403(b) Retirement plan with up to six percent match in second year of employment, flex plan benefit, group life insurance equal to amount of one year salary
