COMPANY PROFILE:
This organization was founded in 2013 by established New York physicians who wanted to respond to the changing healthcare environment. Today, the practice encompasses more than 250 employees and 70 medical providers. They operate 15+ clinics throughout Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Manhattan. In addition to a robust primary care service line, the organization offers pediatrics, cardiology, physiatry/PM&R, and hematology/oncology, with several additional specialties opening soon. They are currently seeking new providers due to growth.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new pediatrician will see a variable and manageable number of patients per day, with the support of a dedicated clinical assistant.

The duties will include, but are not limited to:

- general outpatient pediatric care
- well child exams
- routine injury/illness visits

The practice uses the MDLand EHR.

There are no on-call requirements.

The practice sees a high number of Chinese-speaking patients and the new provider must be fluent in Cantonese and/or Mandarin.

This is a newly-created position to accommodate the practice’s expanding demand for pediatric services, which are currently provided mainly under their family practice umbrella. The new pediatrician will have the opportunity to have clinical and leadership-level input in the development of the new area.


REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, Pediatrics
- must speak Cantonese or Mandarin fluently
- previous outpatient pediatric primary care experience strongly preferred
- energetic, entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help grown a new service line
