A health system in Alaska needs an additional pediatrician to take over for a retiring physician. The schedule is weekdays, no call, and the incoming physician can expect to see 14 - 18 patients per day on average. Candidates should be interested in rural healthcare. The physician will travel to different villages 4 - 8 times per year to provide care with the help of a dedicated nurse.
This employed position offers a generous compensation plan and bonuses. You will also receive loan repayment, relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, medical benefits, life insurance/disability, vacation, CME time, a retirement plan, and malpractice coverage.
