Bronx-Lebanon is the largest voluntary, not-for-profit health care system serving the South and Central Bronx, with 972 beds at two hospital divisions, a comprehensive psychiatric program, two specialized long-term care facilities, and an extensive BronxCare network of medical practices including the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Health Center, that is providing close to one million visits annually. Bronx Lebanon is now among the largest providers of outpatient services in New York City and maintains the second highest market share in the Bronx. Its Emergency Room is responding 135,000 visits annually, one of the busiest in New York. Qualifications Assists in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures M.D./D.O.
