Job Description

Pediatrician needed in Hollywood, California. The primary focus of the Pediatrician is to provide outstanding care, treat acute illnesses and injuries, and build lasting relationships with patients.

Details:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Caseload of 18-20 patients per day
  • Newborn nursery rounding
  • Develop reasonable treatment plans, including referrals and prescriptions
  • Acquire patient medical histories and execute physical examinations
  • Perform additional office procedures and lab tests
  • Provide cross coverage with other providers
  • EMR: Epic

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Doctorate in Medicine or Doctorate in Osteopathy
  • Unrestricted California medical license
  • Previous ambulatory clinical experience beyond residency preferred
  • Working knowledge of Spanish preferred
  • Experience with Patient Centered Medical Home model preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience post residency
