UTMB’s Department of Pediatrics - At UTMB, we have hospital and clinical Urgent Care services available on Galveston Island, at our League City Campus and in the surrounding communities. Our clinics offer leading-edge academic primary, specialty and urgent care services as well as mentoring and supervision of medical students and residents. Our urgent care clinics are modern and soothing with board certified pediatricians available to address any child’s urgent health care needs.

Pediatric Urgent Care – Because kids don’t get sick on a schedule

Physician is to mentor and supervise medical students and residents and will provide Urgent Care treatment for outpatient pediatric patients in shifts with other providers at our Galveston and League City campuses. UC Shifts vary between daytime, evening and weekend shifts averaging 30 hours per week of clinical work and 10 hours of administrative time.

Pediatric Neurology - Treating children well!

Seeking a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Faculty, Pediatric Neurologist. Physician will be responsible for working in a primarily clinical setting with as much as 0.90 clinical time and only limited medical student and resident mentoring and supervision. EEG interpretation is a must be prerequisite.

Pediatric Gastrointestinal (GI) – Treating children well!

Seeking a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Faculty, Pediatric Gastrointestinal Fellow to mentor and supervise medical students and residents. This will be a second physician provider in our growing GI division with nutritional and additional support staff available. Endoscopy suites are also available.

A negotiable base salary is determined by Academic rank and experience and an obtainable RVU bonus program is also available. Superior state benefits and retirement program along with relocation and other incentives is also provided.
