Locum Source is assisting a couple of hospitals in Maine that are looking for a pediatrician to assist with clinic + call coverage. If you are exploring permanent positions, this is a great way to “test the waters” before signing a contract.

Dates:

• ASAP-summer 2023
• Weekend call coverage

Details:

• Nursery Level I
• less than 100 births per year
• 5-10 well check visits per day
• 15-18 total patients per day
• Support staff: MA, PSR, Practice Manager
• no supervision required
• possibility of transfer duties when on call - either upon consult of ED or at time of delivery, situation dependent
• EMR: Epic
• Estimated Cred timeframe: 45 days

Required Pediatric Procedures:

• Outpatient Pediatrics
• Inpatient Pediatrics – No ICU coverage
• Attendance at C-Sections/High Risk Deliveries
• Routine newborn care
• Ventilation Management
• EKG interpretation
• Circumcision

Requirements:

• Board Certified ABMS
• Maine license or IMLC Certification
• ACLS, BLS & PALS
• NRP – If taking call
• Covid and Flu vaccinated
