A 295-bed Regional Hospital facility in south-central Kentucky is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Core Faculty member to teach, mentor and precept residents and medical students. The program fosters a collegial, supportive environment which is conducive to learning and professional growth. The program proves patient-centric teaching that emphasizes practice-based learning and the importance of professionalism and effective interpersonal communication skills. Interest in OMM (osteopathic manipulative medicine) and/or geriatric care desired but not required. Position includes competitive salary and benefits, annual CME allowance, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
Situated on the northeastern edge of a resort area in southern Kentucky, the community is an outdoor paradise known for its abundance of outdoor recreation including boating and hiking. This beautiful small town is conveniently located just 2.5 hours north of Nashville and even offers its own local vineyard! City events include the Master Musician’ Festival each July, as well as Somernites Cruise – the largest classic car show in Kentucky, the Bluegrass State.
