**Pediatric Neurology opening: Saginaw, MI** Located 40m to Flint and 63m to Midland H1b eligible **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - Seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Neurologist to join the Pediatrics Department.  This position is best suited for candidates who are at the assistant or associate professor level, but all ranks will be considered.  A leadership role will be considered for those with the requisite experience; all faculty are appointed through Central Michigan University College of Medicine. The University sponsors eight residency programs including pediatrics.  The academic faculty consists of qualified professionals who are dedicated to undergraduate and graduate medical education and providing excellent care to the communities it serves.  - Position Description: The Department of Pediatrics at CMU Health is seeking faculty members specializing in Pediatric Neurology. The rapidly growing pediatric department is seeking candidates who have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching. This is a comprehensive department, developing a full complement of subspecialties to support our new pediatric residency program! This position is full time, employed position that offers a very competitive salary and benefit package. - Candidate must be able to obtain a Michigan license and be interested in scholarly activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ambulatory outpatient service as well as inpatient consults.  There is a favorable call schedule and the opportunity for EEG and sleep study interpretation is also available.  This opportunity provides flexibility to fit candidates into the appropriate setting for the success of the program as well as the development of the candidate. - This role includes resident and medical student education.  - This health system and university partnership is building a pediatric residency program and the complementary pediatric specialties. The combined efforts focus on providing care for both the pediatric inpatient service and the ambulatory setting.
