**Pediatrics Opportunity in Scottsboro, AL** Located 32 miles from Huntsville, AL and 61 miles from Chattanooga, TN **Details:** - Full-time, permanent position - Schedule: Wednesday-Friday 8a-8p each week, plus one Saturday 8a-12p per month. - If there is inpatient work does it include: C-Section or delivery coverage, Newborn or Inpatient rounding, emergency room consults, admits? Present for emergency C- Section delivery if requested by OB, Newborn and Peds Inpatient rounding for patients, admissions of patients seen in office that require hospitalization at local hospital. Hospital is Highlands Medical Center. Averages 15 pediatric admissions per year and 30 newborn deliveries per month. - Call schedule: There is a shared call schedule that is currently split between 3 pediatricians for both newborn and peds admissions during the week. A hospitalist covers weekends, so you do not have to go on a weekend unless the hospitalist is on vacation and we are covering call. - Patients per day: Averaging minimum of 20 patients per day. - Salary: 220K Base salary with expectation of provider seeing, on average over 12 months, a minimum of 20 patients per day (with the exception time building patient panel). - Bonus structure is production based and comes into play when provider is seeing, on average, more than 20 patients per day. - Benefits: Family Health, Dental, and Vision insurance paid by employer, 401 K with 4% match by employer, Malpractice insurance and license renewal paid for, $2500 CME Stipend, 6.5 paid holidays, and 18 paid days off that can be used for vacation, Uniform allowance once every two years. - Special benefits: 10K relocation, 20K sign-on bonus. - Start date: ASAP - Ideal candidate: Team Player with positive attitude, provides exceptional patient care to children, organized, able to close charts within 96 hours, fun and friendly, energetic, motivated, comfortable collaborating with NP, flexible, willing to take call, good communicator. **About the Facility:** - Group currently consists of 2 Pediatricians, 2 full-time Nurse Practitioners, and 1 Nurse Practitioner that works Monday and Tuesday evenings plus sharing in Saturday rotations. - Group has been established for 5 years - Hired candidate must live/relocate to within 30 minutes of facility - EMR: Azalea Health
