Medstaff is excited to support a national government agency committed to improving the quality of life for thousands of immigrant youths and families each day by providing safe shelter, career development, quality education and access to healthcare.

We are searching for Pediatric Physicians to provide coverage at a new clinic in Greensboro, North Carolina.

  • Flexible coverage available; Full time and part-time; 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
  • The estimated start date is June 2022 and the clinic is open 7 days a week
  • There will be 1 Physician and 3 Advanced Practice Providers onsite for each shift
  • The patient volume will be 15 to 20 per shift. It is estimated that 80% of the patients are in good health.
  • Physicians will diagnose and counsel unaccompanied minors on their current medical condition, set up an effective treatment plan, educate patients on preventative health measures, and perform annual physicals
  • Requires Board Certification, NC License, DEA, BLS and at least 2 years of experience in a clinic or hospital setting
  • Background must be clear of any actions, probation, revocations and voluntary surrenders
  • Bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish speaking)

About the Organization:

  • The organization currently provides services for over 3,960 unaccompanied minors in 27 different facilities located in California, Arizona and Texas.
  • The children are assigned a case manager, and the goal is to reunite them with family already in the US.
  • 90% of the children come from Guatemala or Honduras from apprehended adults.
  • The children will receive medical care, as well as educational and mental health services.
