The Department of Surgery at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Orlando is seeking an additional BC/BE Pediatric Urologist to support the community based and system-wide pediatric Urology services, with an emphasis in the specialty areas of disorders of sexual differentiation (DSD) and transgender as well as complex genital reconstructive surgery. The Pediatric Urology Leader would develop and direct an enterprise-wide approach to the evaluation and management and educate providers within the enterprise and perform/assist in complex reconstructive procedures of the genitalia system-wide. The Pediatric Urology Leader would be expected to develop a strong collaboration with endocrinology/genetics/psychology to develop multidisciplinary clinics for DSD and transgender patients.

There is strong interest in advanced minimally invasive surgery with accessibility to the existing 6 OR suites. This position offers a unique mix of academic and private practice rarely found elsewhere.
The faculty may have protected time for academic pursuits based on interests and will maintain a surgical practice. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience.
