Medcare Staffing is seeking Pediatric Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Greenville, North Carolina.
Coverage needed:
- As soon as credentialed _ Ongoing during recruitment
Highlights:
- Weekend call: Friday 3pm-Monday 12pm
- Established team with 3 pediatric surgeons and 1 APP
- Level 2 pediatric trauma center
- 50 bed level 4 NICU
- 21 bed transitional neonatal unit
- 12 bed PICU staffed by pediatric critical care physicians
- Strong support by pediatric hospitalists, pediatric anesthesiologist, and the full spectrum of pediatric subspecialty services
- 100% inpatient clinical responsibilities
- ATLS required
- Average inpatient census: 10
- Average number of admissions per night: 3
- Provider will not respond to codes
- Provider must perform the full spectrum of pediatric general surgery and ECMO cannulation
