- Coverage Needed:
- November 2020 - ongoing, 7 days in a row of coverage
- PICU days and PICU nights rotating
- 24 hour shifts ( including pediatric surgery rounds, pediatric trauma call, scheduled and emergent surgeries, pediatric surgery clinic coverage including concussion clinic, NICU rounding), on-site, on-call, weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Call required
- Locum surgeon would be the only one on call when covering
- Residents may or may not be available, they have a call schedule but are not designated to pediatric surgery
- Trauma has a call schedule and adult trauma surgeons will be available, but immediate call response is required by pediatric surgery locums
- Clinical Information:
- Daily patient volume: 20
- Fully staffed 15 bed PICU, 30 bed pediatric floor unit, 84 bed NICU
- Clinic staff including 2 nurses, 3 mid-levels, admissions, billing, etc. Physician coordinator. Full range of pediatric subspecialties
- EMR: Meditech, EClinical Works, IMobile, Patient Keeper
- Required:
- Board Certified - Pediatic Surgery and General Surgery
- Must have Active KS License
- Must have ATLS, PALS
- PFCCS is preferred
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
