The Department of Surgery at Westchester Medical Center is seeking a candidate for Pediatric Surgery for the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). The candidate should be Board Certified in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery and eligible for a New York State license.

Applicants are expected to manage all aspects of a busy pediatric surgery practice. As part of a growing group of pediatric surgeons based in Valhalla, NY, just 35 minutes north of New York City. The successful candidate should have strong academic interests as well as excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be joining a high-volume academic service with busy general surgery residency and multiple fellowship training programs. This is an employed position within our academic group practice with comprehensive benefits and malpractice coverage. Academic rank at New York Medical College and salary will be commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications.

As a member of the Pediatric Surgery Section, the successful candidate will be affiliated with Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), which is the children's hospital for New York's Hudson Valley region and Fairfield County, Connecticut. The hospital is home to the region's only pediatric intensive care unit and neonatal intensive care unit, as well as the region's only pediatric Level I trauma center, pediatric burn care service, pediatric transplant program and pediatric cardiac catheterization and surgery program. Maria Fareri Children's Hospital and Westchester Medical Center, a 600-bed hospital serve as the primary teaching affiliate for New York Medical College.
