A well-respected health system in Memphis, TN is hiring two BC/BE Pediatric Surgeons for full-time, permanent, and employed positions. The children’s hospital employs an experienced and skilled surgical & recovery team and is equipped with 5 surgery suites with room for growth. Less than 5 years ago, they opened a 17,000 square-foot emergency room, which features 10 bays for patient care, and a 2,000 square-foot diagnostics area. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with pediatric EM physicians, pediatric hospitalists, and an array of other pediatric specialists.
- Pediatric surgeries to include ENT, ORS, plastics, and more.
- Call will be 1:3 (once 2 Peds Surgeons are hired).
- Most surgeries performed for the last 2 years have been simple procedures on relatively healthy children.
- Academic affiliation with an elite Tennessee university; potential to develop further.
