Overview

An inpatient health center near Odessa County, Texas is looking to add a Pediatric Radiologist to their team. The county is one of Texas’s fastest-growing areas and is known as a great place for young professionals. The county is a day’s trip from many of Texas’s lakes for camping and fishing trips, and the area has four-season weather with mild winters.

Position Overview

  • Certification: MD/DO
  • Title: Pediatric Radiologist
  • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Residency/Training: Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine
  • Special Procedures; Abscess drainage
    • Thoracentesis
    • Paracentesis
    • Joint/epidural injections
    • Arthrogram – general/shoulder/knee/wrist/elbow/hip.
    • PET Scans-general.
    • Nuclear Medicine- general including musculoskeletal
  • Procedure Required: Radiology - General (plain films)
    • Fluoroscopic
    • Fluoroscopic-barium G.I Studies.
    • Ultrasound – General
    • OB
    • Abdominal/pelvis
    • Thyroid scans
    • Pediatric newborn
    • Endovaginal, biopsies
    • Aspiration/drainage.
    • CT-general
    • Neuro
    • Ct angio
    • Biopsies
    • Aspiration/drainage
    • MRI-general including musculoskeletal
    • Neuro
    • Joint msk
    • Non-Vascular Intervention – aspiration/drainage with percutaneous tube insertion and with dilation and or stent
    • Percutaneous needle biopsies above diaphragm/below diaphragm/bone.
  • Setting: Inpatient Setting

Compensation & Logistics

  • Position Type: Permanent W2
  • Availability: Full-Time
