Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the well-established Department of Orthopaedics at DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan (CHM) in Detroit. The Division offers comprehensive care of all aspects of pediatric/child orthopaedics, including the treatment of traumatic, reconstructive, degenerative and congenital orthopaedic conditions. CHM Orthopaedics is nationally ranked by the US News and World Report 2015-2016 Best Children’s Hospital rankings.

The Pediatric Orthopaedics Department is currently comprised of seven physicians, three nurse practitioners, and one physician assistant. This position requires 40 clinical hours worked per week with trauma service on-call coverage. OR block time will be available at CHM’s main hospital campus as well as the CHM Pediatric stand-alone facility in Troy, MI. Pediatric Radiology is available at all clinical locations. CHM is also a CARF Accredited Pediatric Rehabilitation Site with an established Pediatric PM&R department.

An interest in academics in strongly preferred as Children’s Hospital of Michigan supports the academic mission of medical education and training programs for Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University.

Candidates must be board certified and fellowship trained with an active Michigan license (or in progress). Trauma and spine experience is a plus. All qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their current CV for immediate consideration.
