A physician is needed for a traditional pediatric nephrology practice in Alaska. This position will be 25% outpatient clinic and 75% hospital. There will be no weekend clinic responsibilities. Support staff includes 1 RN, 1 CMA, and 2 admins. The incoming physician will see and average of patient census of 15 patients per day. The inpatient duties include diagnosis, management of dialysis patients, management of post renal transplants, renal biopsy, hemodialysis catheter placement, and peritoneal dialysis.

This employed opportunity has a base salary plus wRVUs bonus incentives. You will be offered medical/dental/vision benefits, life insurance, STD and LTD, 6+ weeks of PTO, relocation assistance, 80 hours of CME plus a stipend, a retirement plan, and malpractice insurance that includes tail.
