All Star Recruiting is contracted with a facility in Southern Virginia that is looking for a BOARD CERTIFIED Pediatrician for locums coverage. This need will start in mid December. This is a clinic and call need that consists of Clinic- M - F/ 8a - 5p. Call coverage will consist of 1:2. (technically, the coverage is 1:3 for deliveries as our midwife will be in the call rotation) However, the midwife must have a back-up at all times for complicated cases. The OB/Gyns do the circumcisions. The Pediatrician is not required to be present at deliveries (vag or c-sect). The Pediatrician will be required to be at any complicated delivery. The policy for normal deliveries will be for the Ped to examine the newborn within 24 hours of delivery. All Star will cover malpractice with an “A” Rated Policy, 1/5 Million with a guaranteed tail, travel, and lodging. Job# 36741
