Locums - Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Pediatric Hospitalist Job

  • ASAP - Ongoing
  • The pediatrician works in-house for rounding on newborns and inpatient peds patients, then on call out of house with a 30 min. response time
  • 7 on/7 off | PRH-In House 8am-4pm 8 hours | PRH-On Call 4pm- 8am 16 hours
  • 2 doc model, splitting the coverage, 24/shifts
  • Minimum of 15 shifts per month
  • Average Daily Census: 1.6
  • Daily Patient Load per Clinician: 1-2/day
  • Annual Births/Deliveries: 400
  • Average Patient Age Range: Newborn+
  • EMR, Charting, Dictation: Meditech, medimobile
  • Procedures Required: DOP
  • The pediatrician provides C-section coverage to the OB dept. from 7am-5pm for elective procedures, and 24-hour coverage for emergency C-sections.
  • When on call, the provider is responsible for admitting Emergency Dept. patients as needed
