Specialty Medical Oncology & Hematology
Dates Holiday coverage: Dec. 21, 2020 – Jan. 3, 2021
Schedule Clinic: M – Th 7:30a – 4/4:30p (Clinic Hours) + Weeknight Call: M – Th (5p – 7a) + Weekend Call: Fri – Sun (7a – 7a)
Frequency of Call Requirement Call is required on every date from 12/21/20 – 1/3/21
EMR EPIC
Department Description Clinic: Outpatient ; 12 – 16 patients per shift ; Beacon(Chemo ordering system) is in use on site; Hematology is a large part of practice as well
Call: Inpatient, non-restricted shifts, low patient volume, rounding
Patient Volume 12 – 16 per shift(Clinic) + 5 per shift(Call/Rounding)
Patient Population: Adults
Certifications Required Board Certification in Medical Oncology is required ; Client would strongly prefer dual boarded in Hematology as well(but this isn’t required)
Privileges Emergency privs are possible and will be pursued for the Holiday coverage (only MDs who are IMLC qualified and or actively licensed in MN are of interest)
License Active MN license is strongly preferred – Client will accept licensing candidates if they are eligible for IMLC expedited licensing; Requirements: BC/BE:
