Pediatric Hematology Oncology Opportunity at Asante in Medford, Oregon

Asante is seeking a Pediatric Hematology Oncology physician to join our growing Pediatric Hematology Oncology team in beautiful Southern Oregon. This is a blended outpatient position, half time in Pediatric Hematology Oncology and half time in Pediatric Family Medicine. Work is performed in a community outpatient Pediatric Hematology Oncology clinic located within the Pediatric Unit of Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon, and in a Family Medicine clinic in Ashland, Oregon. Highlights of the Opportunity Include:

* Annual base salary of $240,000

* Performance incentives of up to $15,000 per year starting in year 2

* $25,000 signing bonus

Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Successful completion of training in an ACGME accredited Pediatric residency and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.

License / Certification: MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified from American Heart Association (upon hire or within six months of hire); Board Certified in Pediatric medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics, with board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
